"MADRES PARALELAS", THE LATEST FILM OF PEDRO ALMODÓVAR

Presented at the opening of the 2021 Venice Film Festival, Pedro Almodóvar's film Madres Paralelas recounts the intertwined lives of two single mothers (Penélope Cruz and Milena Smit) who give birth simultaneously in the same maternity ward. In it, the two heroines wear Dior creations designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, including the iconic "We Should All Be Feminists" t-shirt, a committed symbol of reinvented sisterhood. In turn, they also appear in pieces from the Dior Fall-Winter 2020-2021 ready-to-wear line, like a reversible bomber in ivory merino wool and camel suede, or total looks such as a beige short-suit from the Dior Fall 2021 collection. Styles that reflect and assert their singularity.
