Collaboration - 12/4/25

Bottega Veneta today launches Bottega for Bottegas 2025, recognizing craftspeople from three cities integral to Bottega Veneta’s history: Venice, New York, and Milan.

The Bottega for Bottegas initiative began in 2021 to support smaller-scale artisans. Since then, the project has evolved into an annual showcase of workshops and studios that share Bottega Veneta’s dedication to craft.

This year, the collection includes two silverplate glasses by Ganci Argenterie in Milan; Sterling silver cocktail sticks, with a knot detail, by Heath Wagoner in New York; and a handbound notebook by Paolo Olbi in Venice, imagined as a journal for drink recipes or evening reflections.

Founded in Vicenza in 1966, Bottega Veneta has always been deeply connected to the regional capital of Venice; the city’s unique environment, artisanal craft, and history of cross-cultural encounter have shaped everything from house motifs, like the knot, to its inaugural fragrance collection in rippling glass bottles.

Like Venice, Bottega Veneta has also always looked out to the world; in 1972, the house opened its very first store not in Italy but on Madison Avenue in New York. From here, the house reached new levels of cultural recognition and forged formative relationships with the creative scene. In the late 1990s, Bottega Veneta moved its design office from Vicenza to Milan, where it continues to house its headquarters and host its shows.

Together, the Bottega for Bottegas 2025 selection honours artisanal excellence in places that have profoundly shaped the house, while celebrating the much-loved aperitivo hour that is a staple of Italian culture and the festive season.
