Spring 2020 sees the expansion of Zimmermann’s eyewear offering with the introduction of the most recent collection to launch in February 2020.
The Zimmermann eyewear collection presents an assortment of handcrafted, dreamy designs for every summer look by drawing inspiration from Zimmermann’s ready to wear line.
A retro take on the traditional cats eye, Tallow features acute angles and increased panto for a modern fit and feel. Tallow’s squared off lens shape is complimented by curved, feminine edges.
A whimsical update to the traditional metal shape is Shibori. Shibori is an oversized butterfly shape featuring a semi rimless frame construction and fine metal temples. The organic lines lead to unique nose bridge detailing, forming a key resort, feminine accessory.
The Zimmermann eyewear collection showcases only the finest craftsmanship and materials.
Expertly handmade, utilizing rich acetate materials and a combination of graduated and tint lenses.
Hints of blossom pink and powder blue feature through the collection in triple layer acetates evoking a playful, summer feeling. Graduated acetate finishes and light lenses in the Shoreline are an iconic duo, paired together to create a modern update on the traditional acetate aviator.
Featured throughout the eyewear collection, is the Zimmermann signature heart detail. Applied by hand on acetate frames, stamped into the temples of the metal frames, or inlaid into the nose pads of the metal frames, the iconic logo ties the collection together.
The eyewear collection will be available from Zimmermann retail stores, online and major partners such as Matches, Harvey Nichols, Shop Bop, Neiman Marcus, Intermix and Moda Operandi.
