Because nothing is more beautiful than the power of dreams, Lanvin cultivates the art of telling stories through its collections, a tribute to legendary picture books.
Reflections of poetry gathered from fairytales and comic books, these imaginary heroes are inherent to the world of Bruno Sialelli, Maison Lanvin’s Creative Director.
Today, Lanvin is reviving and bringing to light these fictions as an ode to dreams, or the remembrance of the childhood that slumbers inside all of us.

LITTLE NEMO IN SLUMBERLAND: THE CHILD WHO DREAMED

The little boy hero of a comic strip created in 1905 by American cartoonist Winsor McCay, Little Nemo falls asleep every night at sundown and heads off to visit “Slumberland”, the land of sleep.
His greatest dream: to meet the Princess of Slumberland, he searches for her every night during his bizarre adventures. On his journey, the strange character Flip becomes his friend and travel companion.
This dreamlike odyssey will take them all the way to Mars, the Moon, the North Pole, in an airship, on the back of a bird, on seahorses, to meet mermaids, dinosaurs and a thousand other wonderful things.
But every morning, Nemo wakes up to reality...
