Maison Valentino returns this season with its collection
This collection, inspired by the House's archives and aesthetic codes, is based on the concept of "surfaces", which define the look and exalt the silhouettes. With a minimalist focus, the seemingly simple pieces reveal their complexity with turn. Surfaces is a collection of simple, form-fitting silhouettes with precious embroideries, sequins and Couture cuts. A collection that draws its inspiration from a clever mix of 60's bourgeois taste and a resolutely urban, contemporary and elegant aesthetic. Quite simply, a know-how and a Couture allure decontextualized and resignified in the vocabulary of ready-to-wear.
The collection is structured around two main chapters:
Valentino Toile Iconographe, the new VLogo all-over pattern, which is featured on both Valentino Garavani ready-to-wear and accessories. Toile Iconographe is presented on two-tone total looks from red to brown, studied with the world of accessories to offer looks full of textures then Valentino The Party Collection 2022 which fully embodies the joyful spirit of the holidays. With gold and bright colors as the main themes, this last chapter illuminates ensembles and dresses in shades of purple, emerald green, yellow and sequins.
In the final note, Surfaces also presents for the first time, the pattern of Valentino Chain 1967 archives. Here the print, reinterpreted by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, is expressed in several colors on dresses, long and short pieces and scarves
