Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini presents its first upcycled capsule. "Philosophy Re-styled by Lorenzo Serafini 001" was created by giving new life to garments from past collections.

The capsule is a symbol of the brand's commitment to sustainability. In fact, nothing was produced from scratch or purchased specifically to carry out this project.

The collection, designed by Creative Director Lorenzo Serafini, consists of nine styles. The starting point was the company's stock, where the designer chose iconic models representing his signature style.

Available in limited numbers, the pieces included in the collection range from a suit enriched with precious details to a mini dress with a coordinated cape obtained from a party dress, and a sequined style enriched with bows and sparkling accents. Reworking a gown, Lorenzo Serafini also created a three-piece set, which includes a bra, a pair of hot pants and an overshirt with a bow to be knotted around the neck. Fabrics span from taffeta to chiffon, for special pieces, perfect for cocktail events and parties. The capsule, characterized by delicate colors, floral prints and sparkling details, reflects the brand’s most romantic and feminine DNA.

Making each style even more unique, an exclusive label embroidered with the wording "Customized by Lorenzo" is added to each garment.

"It was fun and stimulating to work on this project, which enabled me to rethink and enrich some iconic garments from past seasons. I believe that today it’s crucial to find new solutions to reduce waste, while continuing to offer final consumers fresh and appealing products," states Lorenzo Serafini. "With this first capsule we have focused on cocktail and party attires, representing an important element of the Philosophy world."

The Philosophy Re-styled collection by Lorenzo Serafini 001, which will be previewed during the Cannes Film Festival, will be on sale exclusively at the Philosophy online store from the end of May.
