Campaign - 1/16/24

A unique atmosphere. Buildings that have traveled through time, winding streets leading to hidden locations, scenic views on the Seine and an incomparable artistic heritage:this season, Maison Kitsuné pays homage to Paris, its city of birth, as a meeting place for creative spirits.

In this first chapter of the Spring 2024 campaign, Maison Kitsuné takes a leisurely stroll through the City of Light, inspired by the literary figure of the flâneur. Taking in the views, the flâneur is an observer, casting a keen eye on passersby living their busy life and taking inspiration from the buoyant atmosphere of the city.

The collection, a free-spirited exploration of urban essentials, perfectly embodies the versatility of city life. Denim features heavily, a staple of every urban wardrobe, either adorned with the new Abstract Daisy print or inspired by Japanese workwear shapes. Preppy knits slouch nonchalantly over pinstriped pieces, creating an updated edition of classic tailoring, with a reworked track jacket rounding up the mix.

In line with its passion for discovering new talents, Maison Kitsuné reached out to two emerging artists to embody this modern-day flâneur: Pierre de Maere and Lomijoh. One of 2023’s most flamboyant revelations, Pierre de Maere has just released his first album, “Regarde-moi”, and has captured listeners all around the world with his distinct style and charismatic persona. Although he hails from Belgium, Pierre has a deep appreciation for the unique atmosphere of Paris.

Bringing her rebellious attitude to the women’s collection,French-Cameroonian singer Lomijoh strikes an effortless pose in the streets of Paris: she takes a break from working on a new EP to mix and match some of this season’s hero pieces, including the poetic Floating Flowers print and new crochet logo knit vest.

The collection will be available online at maisonkitsune.com, at Maison Kitsuné boutiques as well as selected retailers on January 15th.
