For the third consecutive year, Miu Miu returns as an Official Partner of Art Basel Paris’ Public Program, presenting Geste de Consolation, a special project conceived by French filmmaker Alice Diop at the Palais d’Iéna.
Created at the invitation of Miuccia Prada, the exhibition marks Diop’s first venture into exhibition-making, bringing together film, photography, sculpture, poetry, dance, music and performance.
Building on her 2025 Miu Miu Women’s Tales film Fragments for Venus, the project explores the representation of Black women throughout art history, celebrating their creativity, voices and stories.
Visitors are invited to discover four interconnected spaces featuring works and performances by artists including Zanele Muholi, Simone Leigh, Nadia Beugré and Angel Bat Dawid.
Through this multidisciplinary experience, Miu Miu continues its ongoing dialogue between fashion, art and culture, highlighting the experiences and perspectives of women.
