For the second successive summer, CHANEL is delighted to open the doors of its seasonal seaside boutique in Turkey, in the coastal resort of Bodrum on June 29th, 2020.
Set in the lush gardens of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, the eye-catching rectangular structure is cut in clean architectural lines that recall the graphic, modern codes of CHANEL. Composed of local travertine stone, wood and glass — mineral tones and raw elements that stand out in the surrounding nature — the design features deep window frames and a wide glass façade. The transparency allows for an easy flow between outside and inside and natural light abounds while the sky and sea are always in sight. Double doors open out to a balcony, on one side, and a terrace on the other, which is fitted out with lavish sofas, overlooking the pool. The iconic CHANEL codes are instantly recognized in the palette: crisp white and accents of bold black tempered by warm beige that hints of sun and sand.
Upon entering, customers discover a selection of playful, sporty looks from the iconic COCO BEACH DE CHANEL collection, an alluring wardrobe for sun-drenched days that is exclusively available from a small selection of CHANEL boutiques worldwide. The collection sits alongside sophisticated styles from the Métiers d'art 2019/20 collection, that pay homage to the timeless elegance of the House, and youthfully feminine looks from the ethereal Spring-Summer 2020 Ready-to-Wear collection. An array of bags and accessories are artfully showcased on wooden steps and white-washed backdrops, or in cabinets that line the walls, while an extensive selection of sunglasses will be on offer for the first time this year.
