Gabriella Cortese, Founder and Creative Director of ANTIK BATIK, takes us on an exotic adventure to the realms of her imagination, full of artistic references and glowing vacation hues. Pastels or acids, printed or plain, structured or draped - anything goes as long as it exudes seduction.
The collection is an ode to alterity - otherness that enraptures and casts the spell of love. Designs are made to be styled with individualistic whim: vests worn on bare sunkissed skin or shrugged on over a swimsuit when the sun goes down. The blouse turns from a whimsical top to a flirtatious dress. Trousers are slung lower than ever in a hip-skimming crop, while the scarf loses its primal function as an accessory and morphs into a fluid print that caresses the body.
Deliciously evoking an escapist island fantasy, a color palette of vivid fruity hues - from citrus lemon to wild raspberry, zesty orange and fresh watermelon - is grounded by earthy shades of pistachio, almond, apricot, and cream.
Blocks of color punctuate the collection, giving rhythm to prints and Hungarian embroideries. With more focus than ever before, accessories top off our adventurous spirit.
