BURBERRY LAUNCHES FIRST EVER BRAND TAKEOVER  OF ANANTI COVE, BUSAN

Burberry celebrates the launch of its latest TB Summer Monogram collection by journeying across the world to South Korea for an immersive takeover of Ananti Cove in Busan. The resort comprises of the Ananti Penthouse and Ananti Hilton Busan hotel.
As a continued celebration of the brand’s heritage and exploration of the outdoors, a bespoke iteration of the TB Summer Monogram will take over everything from the pool and outdoor terrace areas to dining spaces and more for a limited time. Enclosed by black borders, the TB Summer Monogram will adorn sunbeds, seat cushions, parasols, children’s life vests, and even a floating circular pontoon within one of the four hotel pools.
A dedicated Burberry lounge called Thomas’s and a pop-up store will also be opening on the poolside, with the former offering a curated assortment of drinks, desserts and savoury snacks created by chef, Laubenuit.
Creating a vibrant visual experience and bringing together the iconography of the brand with the adventure of a summer holiday, the new TB Summer Monogram sees the classic Burberry Check merge with the TB Monogram – a motif introduced by Chief Creative Officer, Riccardo Tisci.
The new TB Summer Monogram collection is available to purchase at the Burberry pop-up store, as well as online and in selected Burberry stores. Realised in a bespoke sunset-orange design, the Ananti Cove pop-up features a selection of men’s, women’s and childrenswear from the TB Summer Monogram collection in the new Burberry print, and includes nylon hooded jackets, a silk shirt dress, bikinis, sandals, sunglasses, cotton shirts, T-shirts and hoodies.
To celebrate the launch of the takeover, friends and family of the brand were invited to preview the space including, Kim Geewon, Wi Hajun, Mun Gayoung, JayB, Sandara Park, Seol In Ah, Nana, Rowoon, Yeri from Red Velvet, Minkyu and The8 from Seventeen, Yeonjun from TXT, Go Minsi, Irene and Ahn Yujin from IVE.
This year’s edition of Burberry takeovers follows a successful series in 2021 in Bangkok, Dubai, Ibiza, Miami, Mykonos and Xiamen. For the 2022 edition, Burberry is taking over locations in Saint-Tropez, Busan, Singapore and Ibiza. Three of these takeovers will mark the first-ever branded takeovers in the history of the locations, including Ananti Cove.
