VALENTINO CODE TEMPORAL - HAUTE COUTURE SPRING/SUMMER 2021

Events / Fashion house - 1/19/21

Valentino announces that CODE TEMPORAL Haute Couture Collection will be revealed digitally on Tuesday 26th January 2021 at 3.00pm through a special presentation conceived by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli in dialogue with British artist Robert Del Naja, from Massive Attack.

Valentino will continue to attend its appointment with the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode by revealing the presentation on its official website, as scheduled in the Fashion Week Calendar. The performance will be presented on digital channels in the respect of the current situation.

The artwork featuring the collection will be filmed in Rome. Pierpaolo Piccioli selected Galleria Colonna, Sala Grande, to highlight the mastery behind Valentino Couture. Galleria Colonna will also play a pivotal role in inducing a collision with a film made by Robert del Naja.

The film, based on a cut-up collagist script that explores the Haute Couture process, was filmed and observed by machine learning algorithms and spontaneously edited by neural networks trained by Del Naja’s collaborative partner, neural artist Mario Klingemman.

These unprecedented times the world is facing and the continuous update on the Covid 19 regulations, has brought the Maison to reconsider how to present its collections in a completely safe scenario.
