F IS FOR… FENDI presents its new rooftop performance, Doodling FENDI ROMA, a flawless creativity mixing street art and FENDI DNA under the Roman sky.

After the artistic roof-takeovers by Pokras Lampas, the 6 artists of “The Ring of The Future”, and the Roman collective “GraFFiti” performance, FENDI reaffirms its unique bond with the graffiti art through a new yet iconic performance signed by Mr. Doodle.

25-year-old artist form London, Sam Cox aka Mr Doodle is an artist known for his unique style of drawing doodles. He doodles walls, rooms, furniture, vehicles, buildings and anything he can get his hands on, all the way up to this latest extreme makeover of the FENDI HQ.

Mr. Doodle takes his pen to giant mirrored letters spelling out FENDI, ROMA and FF, the iconic FENDI double F. Two days of drawing in a never-ending creative stream. He doodles designing character by character and connecting all the drawings together to give life to the all-over spectacular Doodle’s pattern in black and yellow tones.

The movie portraits Mr. Doodle, highlighting his authentic fun yet witty personality and unveiling his practice, the OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Drawing, in a very unique and FENDI way.

Sam starts doodling on a mirrored desk, but he can’t stop drawing, covering not only the FENDI Rooftop, but the whole Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana. Dynamic frames show a parallelism between Sam writing and Caterina, a young tailor of the FENDI atelier, stitching on Mr. Doodle’s jumpsuit. She combines different tailoring techniques and apply them to different materials and textures to create a unique tailor-made piece, celebrating craftsmanship in an unexpected way. A sublimation of the hand-made in which the graffiti art meets the heritage of FENDI.

As Mr. Doodle says, F is for Fun – and, being the only one to have ever doodled on white-canvas FENDI Peekaboo bag, he knows how to have real fun, even just with a pen.
