FENDI is delighted to announce the Maison has partnered with renowned luxury department store Harrods in London, to invite visitors to an exclusive emporium experience.
Launching from July 1st, FENDI brings its signature craftsmanship, creativity and iconic spirt to Harrods, taking over the Exhibition Space and Windows with a made-to-order Peekaboo Bar, launching special concept stores throughout the month and a FENDI CAFFE pop-up for guests to experience the taste of Italy.
On this occasion, the LA-based visual artist Joshua Vides transforms the Harrods’ spaces into his surreal style dubbed “Reality to Idea” covering objects to buildings in his unique black and white style graphics.
Reimagining the iconic double FF logo in monochrome, Vides’ creativity expresses FENDI’s instinct sense of humour and ingenuity. This unique artwork enriches the pop-up settings for the Peekaboo Bar and the FENDI CAFFE, creating an exciting must-see destination at Harrods this Summer.
PEEKABOO BAR
FENDI is forever an innovator of individualism, the Maison hands over the design reins to the client courtesy of the Peekaboo Bar, that allows visitors for the first time to fully customise their own Mini Peekaboo exclusively at Harrods.
The Peekaboo is an icon for FENDI, a special representative of the Maison’s tradition of researched materials combined in particular ways thanks to the triumph of artisan skills and creativity.
Clients will be able to mix and match three key elements of the bag to create their very own bespoke version; body, handle and strap.
Over twenty different options for the body of the bag will be on offer with a choice of materials including calf and patent leather. A removable handle sees twenty-five different variations including plexi leather and glitter finishes, plus a further seven options for the strap, allowing each client to express their own personal style.
The Defender cover for the Mini Peekaboo is available in an exclusive satin material and bold colour options, complimented with a personalisation express service – an ultimate statement of luxury – with the initials of your choice.
In addition, there will be a special showcase of the Baguette, originally designed in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi, offering a re-edition of the sequin version of FENDI’s iconic bag. Available in three sizes; regular, mini and nano, each bag is embroidered all-over with sequins for a glamorous 3D effect.
Adorned with the signature FF logo buckle, today’s version features a detachable shoulder strap so it can also be worn as a cross-body or hand-carried. The Baguette is available in six colourways, including emerald and blue, which will be exclusive to Harrods in Europe.

FENDI CAFFE
The FENDI CAFFE on the Fifth Floor of Harrods, will be a two-month takeover for the Maison with a special curated menu taking inspiration from Italy. The artist Joshua Vides will impart his signature artwork, transforming the space into a modern contemporary dining experience, emblazoned with the FENDI double FF logo in black and white geometric graphics. Think monochrome FF logoed walls, tables, menus, plates, cups and saucers… a FENDI eatery extravaganza.

SHOE HEAVEN POP-UP
FENDI will open a women’s luxury concept store within Harrods Shoe Heaven for six-months, housing the Maison’s most coveted new-season styles. The space will be characterised by themes to capture the creative designs of the featured collections. Key styles from the main collection and Fall/Winter 2019 runway show will be available, highlights include Colibri tech mesh slingbacks, mid top sneakers with a distinctive sock silhouette, FFreedom ankle boots with a square shaped heel and pointed high-heel boots in shiny neoprene.

MEN’S PIAZZA POP-UP
A special preview of the FENDI men’s Fall/Winter 2019 accessories collection will be showcased at the Piazza concept space, visitors can discover the men’s universe exclusively at Harrods.
FENDI’s legendary Baguette makes its debut for men, available in selected colourways of the classic Selleria leather style – as well as a preview of the Karl Kollage print nylon version – each featuring the FENDI iconic double FF closure clasp.
The Karl Kollage collection characterises a moodboard of handwritten notes, images and sketches once shared between Silvia Venturini Fendi and ‘Guest Artist’ Karl Lagerfeld for the men’s Fall/Winter 2019 runway show. The Karl Kollage collection also includes a backpack, clutch, belt bag, messenger and travel cases, all available at the Piazza from July 15th.
