Culture - 3/10/23

On March 8, 2023, Dior and UNESCO hosted the latest edition of the UNESCO & Women@Dior Global Conference. This event celebrated themes at the heart of Women@Dior’s priorities, such as education, inclusion and gender equality.

The unique gathering, which took place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, once again spotlighted the power of sisterhood. Mentees and Mentors, leaders of the LVMH Group, Dior and UNESCO spoke alongside inspiring public figures and those working for women’s rights in the worlds of business and art, including Mina Kavani, a Franco-Iranian actress, and Hafsat Abiola, President of the Women in Africa organization.

At the end of this special occasion, an exceptional jury – headed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and accompanied by the expert eye of Loïc Prigent – selected the winners of the Dream for Change Project, an initiative in favor of the independence of girls in their local communities.

The day was punctuated by the musical performances of the duo Ibeyi, to be (re)experienced and shared online as of March 13, through a series of videos broadcast on the official Women@Dior website as well as on Dior’s LinkedIn accounts and YouTube channels.
