Copenhagen based brand, ROTATE, adds to their growing digital portfolio, announcing evolving NFT dress and participation in Vogue and Snap Inc’s groundbreaking augmented reality exhibition ‘Vogue x Snapchat: Redefining the Body’ panel discussion. 

As a digitally born brand, ROTATE recognizes and celebrates the necessity for constant evolution and innovation in the digital sphere. ROTATE’s venture into Web3 was initiated during Copenhagen Fashion Week in August 2022, where the brand introduced an Augmented Reality try-on filter in collaboration with Snapchat, and launched the first ROTAT3 NFT.

Initially presented as a vibrant flame print version of the brand’s iconic THERESA dress; physically showcased as part of the Copenhagen Fashion Week runway show, the dress was reimagined as a live action AR filter, taking a dress right off of the runway and interpreting it into the digital ROTAT3 world. Following the Copenhagen Fashion Week debut, the THERESA dress was be released as a series of NFTs, exclusively available at THE DEMATERIALISED (thedematerialised.com), which sold within minutes of launch. 

Owners of the ROTAT3 Morph NFT have now been offered a seasonal refresh to their digital purchase, with an exclusive Spring Summer drop. The Theresa dress has been redesigned and refreshed in a high-octane metallic fabrication, adding everyday glamour to the metaverse. The update is the first of a continued seasonal refresh, with each season bringing an exciting new fabric.
