An invitation to embrace simplicity, appreciate the moment and find joy in the finer things encapsulates Valentino Escape 2024. For the new capsule collection, the art of slow living comes into full focus, uplifted on vibrant, effortless looks and Valentino Garavani accessories.
Permeated by a festive allure, the Escape capsule explores sun-drenched afternoons and outdoor evenings. The lineup of looks ranges from free-flowing kaftans and chemisiers to fluid dresses and skirts, one-shoulder tops, flared pants and, of course, bikinis and swimsuits. All the components of harmonious, intentional living with joyous energy and boundless vision.
For the collection, the Maison underlines two colorful archive patterns, the Valentino Chevron 24 and the Valentino Starfish. Each fueled with their own unique spirit and inspiration, the prints revitalize highlights of the past, with the Starfish originally appearing on the Valentino Spring/Summer 2015 runway, and the Chevron taking hold for the Valentino Spring 2019 collection.
The iconic prints also enrich the Valentino Garavani accessories: the Starfish motif animates tone-on- tone totes and is hand-embossed in bright pink shades on espadrilles, multi-color Chevron adorns bucket bags and ecletic slides. The offering continues in countless iterations, from pattern-emblazoned headbands to hats, mini bags and more.
To tell the story of the capsule, the Maison has envisioned an idyllic, intimate campaign made of delicate portraits and stolen memories. Set around a seaside villa, two personalities embody the joy and easiness of the collection as they explore the art of leisurely coastal living.
The Valentino Escape 2024 collection will be available online and in select stores from mid-May, and the Maison will celebrate its launch through a series of events. To kick off the capsule, an exclusive experience will happen on a hot air balloon escape in Cappadocia, set among Turkey’s sensational landscape and perfectly encapsulating the ethos of the collection. Activations will pop up around the world throughout June and July, including a Mytheresa boat experience in the South of France, and events across the globe from the activations in US and Oman to the Europe most renowned summer locations.
