LOUIS GABRIEL NOUCHI opens its first boutique/studio in the heart of Paris.
The designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi opens his first Parisian boutique in September. Located a stone’s throw from the Cirque d’Hiver, at 4, rue Oberkampf in the 11th arrondissement, halfway between the Haut-Marais and the dynamic Oberkampf district, this 40m2 showcase is divided into two spaces: on the ground floor, the boutique where all the collections are presented, and on the first floor, the design studio.
LGN Louis-Gabriel Nouchi is completely renovating a former Parisian boutique to create his first address and set up his studio. Neighbor to the major men’s brands of the moment, the boutique is a way to assert its identity and get closer to its customers.
While keeping the original «Parisian boutique» spirit, space mixes the designer’s passions, clothing, books, and bookshops. From the entrance, the designer sets up a large library full of returned books. Made anonymous, the books leave their edges bare as if to announce unlimited inspiration for future collections.
White walls spilling over onto the floor, moldings on the ceiling (remnants of the original layout), intense light aligned like an exhibition space, a «library» fitting room overflowing with books, different types of wood, and a few metallic and mineral touches. All these details create an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The black lacquered Parisian facade offers three showcases with very contemporary sculptural installations.
A space with a sober and minimalist aesthetic, without overload or ostentation subtly twisted with dissonant touches. Designed by the artistic director Adrien Simon Poznanski, the boutique offers the right balance between a sober and elegant French style, a minimal and contemporary atmosphere, and the assumed sophistication of a Parisian bookstore.

More than a boutique, the designer wanted a space that could evolve and collaborate.
«This boutique is for me an opportunity to present my collections and collaborations but also to invite other friends and creative minds... writers, object designers, artists, musicians, and even other fashion designers. (Façon Jacmin, Agnelle...)
I want this space to live more than two seasons, the collections will be accompanied by exclusive capsules with exhibitions, installations, book signings, a literary coffee moment... The decoration will also evolve during the year. »
«The studio upstairs is a way for me to be reactive and attentive, in short, very close to the customers. We are going to launch exclusive «rebirth» capsules designed according to their requests and remarks, with upcycling or left-over fabrics from our production, modernized by new dyes. »
This upcycling spirit is subtly found in the space by eclectic objects found in the field: the recovered books, the hangers made in collaboration with WOH.EE making its products with old recycled clothes and decorations made with the Reserve des Arts de Pantin. It is thanks to all its ingredients that the space is sober and comfortable between tradition and modernity.
