Givenchy proudly reveals key advertising images for its Spring-Summer 2023 women's wear collection.

Conceived by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams and shot by the photographer Heji Shin, this new global campaign features Gigi Hadid, Selena Forrest and Luna Passos wearing key looks from the collection. Also featured is Givenchy's statement bag of the season, the Voyou, a versatile, everyday hobo style first seen on the Givenchy runway for Spring-Summer 2023.   

The clash between American and French aesthetics, between Parisian elegance and the ease of American sportswear, were key to conveying this season's mood, said Creative Director Matthew M. Williams. Having collaborated previously with Heji Shin, the designer said he was delighted to reunite with her again. 

"Heji is an amazing artist with a unique, inspired visual language that she has entrusted us to transpose to fashion," said Matthew M. Williams, Creative Director of Givenchy. 

In keeping with the Givenchy runway presentation for Spring-Summer 2023, the women's global advertising campaign continues to explore the tensions and contrasts between the House's iconic tailoring heritage and the urban ease Matthew M. Williams has established as part of the brand's aesthetic.  

In one double-page spread, longtime friend of the House Gigi Hadid appears in a ruched, backless dress with matching gloves, cradling the Voyou. In single-page, color and black and white portraits, she again appears with a black version of the everyday essential and wears a crossed-front leather brassiere with buckle details. For the first time, the model Selena Forrest appears in a campaign for the House: images show her looking effortlessly cool in a black and white portrait shot from behind, in which she wears a long, backless knit dress with a draped detail. The Brazilian model Luna Passos is captured in a draped leather skirt and top with matching gloves, also with a version of the Voyou handbag. A true eyewear statement, the new Giv-Cut sunglasses β€” fully 3D-printed in nylon β€” brings added drama and extravagance to the season's looks. 

The Givenchy Spring-Summer 2023 women's wear campaign will break globally online and in print in January 2023.
