Mugler unveils the second instalment of The Wardrobe of Identities, continuing Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas’ exploration of clothing as an expression of transformation and empowerment.  Photographed by Rafael Pavarotti, styled by Robbie Spencer, and featuring Saskia de Brauw, this latest visual narrative unfolds through a series of powerfulmoments showcasing the Pre-Fall 2026 Wardrobe Collection.

Set within the familiarity of the everyday, the story follows a woman through a day suspended between reality and emotion.  Across each scene, the garments become an expression of identity in motion. Each silhouette reveals a different state of being —whether a feeling, a posture, or a form of strength.

“Clothing has the power to transform not only how we are seen, but how we inhabit ourselves and when a silhouette becomes a state of mind. We move through different versions of ourselves every day. I am fascinated by the way clothing accompanies those shifts. The Wardrobe of Identities is a celebration of that constant evolution. I was interested in the quiet power of everyday moments. The story unfolds in familiar spaces, yet something feels transformed.” —Miguel Castro Freitas

The camera remains intimately close, observing with an almost intrusive proximity. Through Pavarotti’s lens, the viewer is drawn into moments that feel both private and cinematic, witnessing transformation as it unfolds in real time.At the centre of the narrative are the silhouettes and accessories: sculpted tailoring, defined shoulders, fluid draping, and precise construction embody the evolving codes established by Miguel Castro Freitas, including the Aurora and Lua bags.

Distinctly Mugler in attitude and form, they accompany a woman moving through the world with fearless self-awareness and quiet intensity.Through Saskia de Brauw’s singular presence, The Wardrobe of Identities continues its exploration of multiplicity and self-expression, celebrating clothing’s capacity to reveal, conceal, and continuously redefine the self.

The collection is available from June 2026 on mugler.com and in selected boutiques worldwide.
