The Cannolo Bag
The new signature Jil Sander statement bag is functional, iconic, charming, and sharp.
Created in two sizes, small and medium, with an adjustable belt and a unique, sculptural round buckle, it can be quickly transformed from a handbag, to a shoulder bag, a crossbody bag, or a pouch. Ready for day and night, for formal and casual wear.
Its tubular shape is together particular and pristine - as a tool box, as something that has always been and will always be there. The name, inspired by the Sicilian dessert, adds a dash of playfulness: one of the qualities of Lucie and Luke Meier’s work.
Built by artfully rolling and folding a circle of leather, the Cannolo Bag is clearly the result of a simple gesture that can only be made by expert hands that are able to find flawless movements and perfect proportions.
